Description
Memories of snow-covered mountain landscapes or clouds: the delicate pattern of the flowing glaze invites daydreaming. The wide, classic rim makes the bowl particularly easy to handle. Red clay with a milky white glaze. Complements the small bowls in the set.
Isegahama Toubou – Tomokiyo Kunio
In the early 1980s, Tomokiyo Kunio established his workshop in Hyuga, on the southern island of Kyushu. Shaped by the sea and nature, his functional ceramics have a distinctly rugged character. His time in Mashiko and Kasama—both renowned pottery centres for glazed ceramics—can be seen in his skilful use of a wide range of glazes.
