SAKE & CLAY

The Soul of the Vessel

Workshop - 8.10 & 10.10 2026

The way a vessel influences our perception of sake is something best discovered through experience. In our workshop, you can explore a selection of Japanese sake vessels, hand-form your own sake cup and, during a tasting with Jeanne Therre, discover the interplay between ceramics, form and flavour.

Pottery Wheel Workshops

with a Japanese aesthetic

Workshop - 21.9, 28.9, 05.10 & 19.10

Over four sessions, we explore the world of ceramics, with a particular focus on Japanese aesthetics and techniques.

Experience the art of wheel-throwing in a small group. In the first session, you will learn to throw your pieces on the wheel. The second and third sessions focus on trimming and refining your technique, while the final session is dedicated to glazing your finished pieces.

Team Experience – Wabi-Sabi Ceramics

Available on request

Working with clay, exploring Japanese aesthetics and seeing things from a new perspective. A moment of focus and creativity, inspired by the Wabi-Sabi appreciation of imperfection.

A typical workshop lasts around three hours and is designed for up to 10 participants.

A Japanese-inspired Zen pause to spark new ideas and bring a different dynamic to the team.
